Le Scarabée - Yellow Room

'Le Scarabée' is located in the picturesque hamlet of Cantérate - Ariège. In our house we offer two comfortable rooms with shared bathroom and toilet. The Yellow Room (link, at the bottom of this page) has two single beds with a view of a quiet street. The Blue Room has a double bed with a view of the garden.

Whether you like calm, tranquility, culture or adventure...everything is possible. There are magnificent natural areas for bird watching, water sports, cycling, horse riding, mountain sports and hiking. Montbel Lake is 3 km away. There you can swim or have fun in the nutrient clay.

If you are interested in Cathar history, you can head to Le Montségur, La Cité de Carcassonne, Puivert, Alet-les-Bains, Rennes le Château and several other places.

You find nice markets in Espéraza (Sunday morning) and Mirepoix (Monday morning) for example.

It's possible to relax even more because during your stay you can book a massage or a relaxing treatment with us.

Our house has an artistic touch and there is the possibility of using the meditation room. We also have a pretty garden with a lime tree as a natural parasol with the radiant peaks of the Midi-Pyrenees in the distance.

Rental conditions:

Arrival time between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., departure time before 10:30 a.m.

Cancellation possible up to 7 days before arrival on site. In case of cancellation less than 7 days before the start of the stay, the 30% deposit will be retained.

• Picnic/lunch - please book the day before € 8,- p.p.
• 3 times a week you can register for a joint dinner (vegetarian) for € 12,- p.p.
• It is possible to use the washing machine € 3,- per time, soap included.
• We have a septic tank so please use biodegradable products.
